First off.. How are you doing?

Doing well Joe! Hope everything is good on your side!

What is your current DJ setup?

My current setup is 2 technic 1200s, S9 and i just started using the new JICO N44-7 stylus

What is the career highlight that stands out the most to you?

Ahh man, so far i can say that opening up for Rob Swift and Mister Sinista (When they were touring as Da Odd Couple) was probably the most fun i ever had as a DJ. I was opening up alongside a group of DJ friends and we were just having pure fun!

How do you balance your relationship with giving the listeners what they want and putting them on to music you want to expose them to?

I generally go by instinct. I scan the room before getting on and when I’m on the tables I’ll give them a few known hits and then I can sense they trust what i throw at them so i start to go down the path of what i like for them to hear. But pretty much by now people know what I play and they’re down for it.

DJs are the original record breakers, so what artist do you currently support?

I support my big bro Jayef, he got heat that came out during the pandemic. Ali Bey; check out Spaghettinero Productions – Revenge; Served Cold!

Pass the torch. What DJ should MyWayDJ interview next and why?

Ahh man there are so many DJs to choose from, but ima go with my SB Fam. You should def hit up DPONE and\or DJ 360 “The Young Rascal”

A1SUPREME, born and raised in Corona, Queens NY is an original member of the Supreme Beingz Bboy crew. As a bboy exposed to many different genres of music, this led him to start DJing. Over the years he has DJ’d Bboy\Bgirl events, bars, lounges and clubs.

The desire to improve his DJ skills led him to seek out guidance from Rob Swift of the X-Ecutioners. This mentorship has tremendously improved A1SUPREME’s skills, laying the foundation to enter battles, push his creativity and test his skills against other competitive DJs.

But his passion will always be providing the soundtrack to those that love music and dance.
