Bobbito was out of town on this one so Stretch let the music rock for almost an hour before getting on the mic (54:05). Mic Geronimo and some of his Wastelands crew were there and joined him on this mic break. At 56:45 Mic G. and crew get busy. After that Stretch continues on with music and hops on the mic for a few seconds (110:06) to mention that one of the tapedecks isn’t working. Other then that he proceeds with new joints up until he breaks into an old school set (114:09). Another mic break after that set (175:46) and me, Riz, A.Vee and Ken from Japan join him for shenanigans. After a long segment of jokes Stretch continues on with some old school flavor right up until 243:00 where we all get back on the mic to end the show. Seems that the Jazz “Man” was late so they actually ran an extra 10 minutes overtime. Shout out once again to Nes from http://dirtywaters.blogspot.com/ for providing me with some audio I needed to complete the entire night.

About DJ Eclipse
DJ Eclipse, renowned indie Hip Hop tastemaker, first gained national notoriety while djing for 3rd Bass front man MC Serch in the early 90’s. His reputation grew in the mid 90’s by filling in for Stretch Armstrong on his weekly 89.9 radio show on WKCR and then later for Mayhem on 89.1 WNYU. He joined Wild Pitch Records in ’94 and became the National Director of Retail Promotion until their closing in ’95. Then, DJ Jab, the owner of a small basement record store called Fat Beats, brought Eclipse in to help out on weekends. It wasn’t long before Fat Beats became a worldwide company with Eclipse overseeing all of their retail operations. Around this time, NY also saw the birth of Eclipse’s seminal crew Non Phixion, which played a pivotal role in the indie renaissance of the mid 90’s. During these years, Eclipse established himself as the “go to” DJ for all the local Hip Hop events at Wetlands, S.O.B.’s, Vinyl and most notably, Tramps. In ’97, after spinning at many of the “Break Beats” parties at The Point in the Bronx, Crazy Legs put Eclipse down with the legendary Rock Steady Crew as one of the RSC DJs. By 1998, Eclipse started The Halftime Radio Show with DJ Riz and Lynn Gonzalez. Later on he could still be heard on on 89.1 WNYU with DJ Skizz on Wednesday nights from 10:30 PM – 1:00 AM (EST). As a producer, some of Eclipse’s notable credits include remixes for O.C. (“Time’s Up” & “Born 2 Live”), Nas, N-Tyce, the Modern Jazz Quartet (Rebop-The Savoy Remixes), a couple party joints for AV8 & Nervous Records and the Fractured Breaks battle records series just to name a few. In addition to running the Fat Beats NY store, operating Uncle Howie Records with partner ILL BILL and touring with La Coka Nostra, Eclipse joined DJ Premier on his “Live From HeadQCourterz” radio show as a “relief” DJ when Primo is on tour. The show aired on Sirius Satellite Radio on channel 40 Friday nights from midnight to 2 AM (EST).
Now he flexes on Rap Is Outta Control on (SiriusXM). Rap Is Outta Control is a weekly mix show hosted by DJ Eclipse and DJ Riz. The Sirius XM show airs every Sunday evening from 10pm-12am EST on Shade 45.

XXL mag, I don’t recall who was on the cover, but yeah I believe it was the one with the Crime Pays hoodie (courtesy of Lush Life). Don’t know if a link exists…..scratch that. Just searched and found it. The Game is on the cover. June 2008. Navani Otero did the interview and it can be found on her page Yeah “Time’s Up” was my first published remix (but not my first published production). Yeah O.C. was down with Serchlite prior to Serch and I even working at Wild Pitch so we were already down with O. Then at Wild Pitch I just did a homemade remix of it and played it for everyone and they liked it. So we added it to the 12″. Yep, played a lot of those O.C. demos on that show which at the time were mostly unheard (now most available on the O.C. O-Zone Originals EPs). Actually my original idea was to recreate the 5 Deadly Venoms line up for that anniversary, but PF had some family health issues at the time and Mister Cee never got back to me. So that’s when I added JS-1 and A-Trak.
E,hey good brother my Son inquired(he’s doing a piece on you,& ‘our thing’ pz) the XXL ’08 was it the joint you had on a ‘CHRYME PAYS’ Hoodie if not mistaken Game or Luda on Cover can’t find issue readily is there a link to that Anywhere. He’S using the DJEclipse Cornucopia, let me sneak this ? In “Times Up” your 1st remix? & if so it came about via Serchlite handling O.C. out the gate, as well as yourself Bless Sen or Michael Berrin whom I firmly believe w (&Faith Newman,as well as Faith period.) We don’t see/&hear illmatic/& “Word… Life” which leads me to the unreleased Buckwild/O.C. tracks you set your 10th anniversary off with,I loved that anny. That was my favorite was like the 5Deadly Venoms w yourself,A-Trak,&JS-1 filling PF Cuttin’ & Mister Cees spot. I’ma ride home from work on the Parking Lot aka CrossBxExpressway lol need a full tank, a 5gallon can,& the 2&1/2hrs ,w a Katz’S Del8 Corned Beef Sandwich w Don Hermanns 1/2 sour pickles w a knish for KBL, 1
