Radio Announcer and Fame FM (Jamaica), Denvo is often times referred to as the heartbeat/baseline of PLAY IT LOUD! DJ Academy, a reassuring product of the inner city community known as Cockbourn Pen.

He learned the power of music in his formative years from exposure to community sound systems and coupled it with vast research and hands on experience in the industry went on to win Jamaica’s first credible DJ competition dubbed Heineken Green Synergy in 2004.

Hot off the heels of his win, he was hired by hip local station FAME 95FM to take reign of the weekly Sunday morning show ‘Solid Gold’ from 10am to 2pm – a slot which gave him the chance to showcase has vast knowledge of musical history. Shortly after came other weekly on air slots: ‘Ignition’, Saturdays 5pm – 9pm and ‘Ignition’, Tuesdays 9am – 1pm. With these four eminent slots on radio, DJ Denvo has earned the respect of many within the industry and has become one of Jamaica’s premier radio/ party DJs.

About Red Bull 3Style

Red Bull 3style is a DJ contest that promises to be a night of dance-floor mayhem. Each DJ gets a 15-minute shift where they can play whatever they like, as long as they have at least three styles or genres of music in that time. It doesn’t matter what genres of music are chosen so long as the DJ can make them work together.

Now in its tenth year, the ante has been upped with challenges taking place in more than 20 different countries around the globe. Each country will have a series of qualifiers and a national final to determine who the Red Bull 3Style champion for that country is. The champions from around the world will then go on to compete at the World Finals.
